Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of Viatris’ portfolio and pipeline and the specifics of the clinical data for each program.
  • Medical Information: provide support of Medical Information related activities for pipeline and marketed products.
  • Scientific Communications: Gain an understanding of the US scientific communications and publication processes/requirements/best practices.
  • Field Medical: Understand the role of the Medical Science Liaisons (MSL), possibly participate in field visits, virtually, where appropriate, understand the Compliance landscape of the MSL and identify opportunities for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Scientific Training and Development: Develop global product and disease state training materials and resources.
  • Patient Advocacy: Gain an understanding of the compliance guidelines for engaging with patients and patient advocacy organizations as well as the patient advocacy strategy for the various communities.
  • Attend relevant cross-functional team meetings, virtually, to gain a greater insight of the role of Medical Affairs.
  • Gain an understanding of the pharmaceutical advertising and promotional review process, FDA/OPDP guidelines, and PhRMA regulations that govern the promotion of pharmaceuticals and the role of Medical Affairs.
