Requirements

  • Enrolled Senior in an undergraduate or Master’s program OR have earned a degree within the last 12 months.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 5:00pm) for the duration of this internship.
  • Familiarity with multiple video production programs including Premiere, DaVinci, After Effects, and other Adobe Creative programs, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of post-production workflows and editing software.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for podcasts and audio entertainment.
  • Experience producing content for social media and other digital platforms.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Desire to work for a media or streaming company.
  • Passion for the mission of public media.
  • Experience producing static graphics for non-video materials.

Responsibilities

  • Produce at least 2 shortform videos per week.
  • Assist in editing at least 1 longform video per week.
  • Work with the Audience Engagement Coordinator to manage publishing of videos as needed.
  • Properly manage and store draft and finished files in APMG’s existing portfolios.
  • Meet with podcast production teams regularly on content strategy.
