Requirements

  • Pursuing M.S. or Ph. D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or related fields

Responsibilities

  • Wet process technology roadmap updates
  • Work with Micron engineers and vendors to develop processes that meet device requirements for future memory technology nodes
  • Transfer processes to pilot production and high-volume manufacturing facilities
  • Improve existing processes and enhance process capability, productivity and efficiency.
  • Prior wet processing and/or chemistry experience in academia must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently under minimal direction
  • Experience generating presentations and reports
  • The ability to work with others, both one-on-one and in a team environment, and to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage time
  • Qualified candidates should also have a good background in one of the following areas: organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, surface chemistry, or electrochemistry
  • Knowledge of integrated circuit processing and semiconductor devices is preferred
