What You’ll Learn


  • There are 3 potentials projects for the summer internship. 
  • Wi-Fi 7 test development
  • Contribute to the functional and unit testing of Wi-Fi 7 multi-link functionality in Hosted Environment using CMock and Unity.
  • PCAP analyzer enhancement for 802.11be.
  • Packet injector for mocking new frames and visualizing over the air.

Skills You’ll Learn:

  • Interns will deepen their understanding of Wi-Fi protocol stack.
  • Interns will have the opportunity to work on Wi-Fi firmware, learning to design, develop and optimize software that directly interacts with Wi-Fi hardware.
  •  They will hone their software development skills, including coding in languages like C/C++.
  • They will develop strong teamwork skills through collaboration on projects and gain insights into agile development methodologies.


  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong coding skills in C/C++, Python.
  • Familiarity with Linux Systems, Android, Windows.
  • Experience working with wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers for debugging.
  • Knowledge of existing wireless communication protocols: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, Bluetooth/BLE or related protocol is a plus.

  • Develop tools and library to improve the development process of new Wi-Fi features.

  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
