Requirements

  • Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • Experience studying or working in a Spanish and/or Portuguese-speaking country is a plus.
  • A recent graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited university or college as a full-time undergraduate.
  • The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and attentive to detail.
  • Applicants are expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills and experience successfully balancing multiple tasks.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Requires US Work Authorization, unable to consider candidates with OPT/Post-OPT status.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting research and analysis on issues related to clients in Spanish and/or Portuguese-speaking countries;
  • Monitoring Spanish and/or Portuguese-language media coverage and social media platforms;
  • Writing and translating content for clients in Spanish and/or Portuguese;
  • Draft briefs for new business opportunities, fact sheets, and editorial content;
  • Monitor issues or news events;
  • Identify and compile lists of media contacts;
  • Research topics and issues and analyzing findings;
  • Edit and proofread client deliverables;
  • Assist in the development of client proposals;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The internship lasts for 6 months, beginning on Monday, June 9th and ending on Friday, December 12th, 2025.

Where will the internship take place?

The internship may sit in either the Washington DC or New York office.

What are the required working hours for the internship?

Interns are expected to work between 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What is the compensation for this internship?

This is a paid internship with a fixed hourly rate of $17.50.

What are the qualifications needed to apply?

Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish and/or Portuguese, be a recent graduate or currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate, and possess strong communication skills and attention to detail.
