What is the expected start date for the internship?
The internship is expected to start around May 2025 and continue through the Summer term, approximately until August 2025, with the possibility of extending into Fall 2025.
How long is the internship duration?
We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.
Are international students eligible to apply for this internship?
Yes, international students can apply, but if your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school about the ability to work 40 hours per week on-site before applying.
What is the nature of the work involved in this internship?
Interns will work on developing automated Software in the Loop (SIL) and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) validation infrastructure, executing automated regression test suites for safety-critical chassis software, analyzing test coverage, and creating board-level test plans.
What qualifications are required for applicants?
Applicants should be pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, with a graduation date between August 2025 and December 2025.
What programming skills are preferred for this position?
Excellent proficiency in Python or C is required, and experience with Rust or scripting in other languages like Perl, Shell, or Bash is a plus.
Is experience with version control necessary?
