Responsibilities

  • Preparing new Compliance Department policies or revising existing ones to reflect regulatory updates, organizational changes or business changes;
  • Assisting in drafting communications regarding policy updates and reminders of regulatory obligations;
  • Ensuring all steps in the policy management process are documented and retained;
  • Assisting in responding to policy requests from regulators, internal audit and the Legal Department;
  • Updating the enhanced mapping and linkages of the Laws, Rules and Regulations (LRRs) applicable to the Firm’s U.S. operations in the SGUS Regulatory Inventory to various data points such as Firm policies, procedures and controls;
  • Monitoring/analyzing new regulatory developments for inclusion in the SGUS Regulatory Inventory, taking into consideration applicability to the business, and products and services offered by SGUS;
  • Assisting in preparing reports/communications regarding regulatory developments and policies to update stakeholders;
  • Taking minutes for internal meetings such as the Regulatory Change Committee;
  • Revising existing training to reflect regulatory updates, organizational and business changes;
  • Reviewing and proofing training presentations and online course storyboards;
  • Managing the Firm’s learning management system, MyLearning;
  • Managing the Compliance Training mailbox and responding to training inquiries;
  • Documenting required continuing education training completion for department staff;
  • Assisting the Compliance Training Team with other training projects and administrative tasks.
