Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Experience with analog and digital circuit design and PCBA
  • Experience with PCB component selection
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience in MATLAB, Python, C/C++ or equivalent tools for modeling and analysis
  • Basics of serial communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Your application for the Electrical & Electronic Design Engineer Internship will be considered across all opportunities for the teams listed below:
  • The Robotic Systems Integration team, which owns the electrical and hardware design, test, and prototype for all the power electronics that go into Tesla Bot. The ensure's the product functions are successfully achieved by the integrated subsystems as they interact in the context of Tesla Bot
  • The Robotics Electronic Design & Circuitry team that works on the low voltge and power distributions systems. You'll be exposed to various aspects of the Tesla Bot, such as controllers, sensors, actuators, battery, and harnesses.  You will take part in designing full robot circuitry and document requirements, calculations, design decisions, service documentation etc
