We provide an experience that allows for the intern to experience life at Tesla by giving them projects that are critical to their team’s success. 
  • Tesla is looking for a Data Engineer to join the Energy Asset Management team responsible for preparing data for analytical and operational uses across all of energy products. The team builds and maintains data pipelines that consolidate data from different systems into a structured format that can be consumed by the team to build reports, dashboards and drive decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent in experience
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
  • Demonstrated experience building data pipelines using Airflow
  • Working knowledge of Spark and big data processing
  • Experience with Git or other source control software
  • Scala experience is a plus
