Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant program with a focus on Power and Energy Systems in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science or a related field with a gradation date between 2024-2025
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles including usability, testability, modularity, and object-oriented design
  • Familiarity with building software tools and pipelines for large scale data analysis and modeling
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with global operations teams
  • Understanding of the EV charging industry and related technologies
  • Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or JavaScript

Responsibilities

  • Apply software engineering principles, such as usability, testability, modularity, and object-oriented design, to ensure the development of reliable and efficient charging network solutions
  • Build software tools and pipelines to effectively leverage insights and models for decision-making across global operations
  • Conduct large-scale data analysis to extract meaningful insights for enhancing the charging experience for Tesla customers
  • Utilize machine learning techniques and modeling to develop predictive models for charging network operations
  • Support in making data-driven, model-based decisions that influence the overall charging network strategy and operations
  • Contribute to cross-functional collaboration to optimize the charging experience
  • Collaborate with different teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization in charging operations
