When does the internship start and how long does it last?
The internship is expected to start in May 2025 and will continue through the entire Summer term, which includes August and September. We ask for a minimum commitment of 12 weeks, full-time.
Can international students apply for this internship?
Yes, international students can apply, but they must consult their school regarding their ability to work 40 hours per week on CPT before applying.
What will EHS interns be working on?
EHS interns will engage in a variety of activities related to environmental compliance, particularly focusing on air quality permitting, hazardous waste management, and stormwater/wastewater improvements at the Fremont factory.
What degree programs are preferred for this internship?
The internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Environmental Studies, Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or Safety Engineering.
Is prior experience required for the internship?
Previous work experience or internships focused on environmental topics such as air, water, or waste is preferred, but not explicitly required.
