Requirements

  • You must be enrolled in a university and need to submit proof of enrollment for the duration of your internship.
  • It is a practice-oriented internship, i.e. no thesis research internship.
  • You will be based in Amsterdam.
  • During your internship, you have the flexibility to work from home some days of the week.
  • You have an international perspective and can work as part of a team of specialists from various countries and cultures.
  • You have a hands-on mentality, take ownership of your tasks, and seek help when needed.
  • You are a problem solver who pays attention to detail and has a flexible approach.
  • You have a proactive mindset and like networking.
  • Minimum requirements are a bachelor’s degree and enrolled in a master’s degree.
  • Passion for Corporate Communications and working in a multinational environment.
  • You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • You have great English language and writing skills, Dutch language skills are of added value.
  • In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
  • In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  • Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the development and execution of media plans.
  • Supporting the preparation and coordination of media interviews.
  • Contributing to the creation of communication assets, such as Q&A's, key messages, quotes, visuals, etc.
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions.
  • Drafting communication materials for various platforms and audiences.
  • Compiling coverage overviews and analyzing media coverage.
  • Internal stakeholder management.

The internship lasts for 5 or 6 months, depending on consultation with your internship supervisor.
