Description

  • This position is expected to start around May/June and continue through the entire Summer 2024 term (i.e. through August/September) or into Fall 2024 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.  
  • International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

  • The Global Sales & Service Operations & Planning team reports into the Global SVP of Automotive and works on all aspects of the Sales, Delivery, and Service organization. The team is looking for an analytical and process-driven intern to support critical initiatives, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, and support Tesla’s continued growth. 
  • During your internship, you will lead initiatives and support our leaders on the Global Sales & Service Global Operations & Planning team. Our team partners closely with regional Sales & Service organizations and partnering across functions to find and execute on the highest leverage opportunities. 

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree, MBA or a related field of study and graduating between 2024-2026
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a company or business unit of comparable complexity including operations management
  • Evidence of exceptional ability, especially within an ambiguous environment, and a strong drive for excellence  and highly collaborative and comfortable leading cross-functional projects 
  • Demonstrated success driving tangible impact / influencing within a broader organization, especially in an analytical/operational role 
  • Excellent analytical skills (e.g., Microsoft Office applications, financial modeling, etc.)  and strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders 
  • Excellent problem-framing, problem solving and project management skills 
  • Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment
