Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Senior or above.
  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • An official transcript may be required upon request.
  • Preferred majors include: Marketing, Communications, Business Administration.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems preferred.
  • Experience creating engaging content for various channels, including social media posts, blogs, and marketing materials preferred.
  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
  • Consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Provides general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling, meeting preparation, and coordination of marketing collateral.
  • Conducts audits of current marketing and sales tools to ensure accuracy and that all content is up to date.
  • Assists in creating and executing marketing presentations and documents for team members and stakeholders.
  • Updates and maintains hotel website content, including room descriptions, special offers, and blog posts.
  • Conducts market research, analyzes industry trends, and applies findings to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Collaborates with various departments, including Sales, Creative, and Operations, to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Develops an email and social media campaign calendar, providing creative input for various marketing initiatives.
  • Tracks, measures, and reports on the success of marketing campaigns, gaining insights into data-driven decision-making.
  • Assists in organizing marketing assets across the department.
  • Reports any Branding discrepancies or outdated materials to the marketing team for resolution.
  • Ensures that all branding materials, such as signage and promotional materials, are properly displayed and consistent with the marketing strategy.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
