Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement (6 months). Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the experimental team at the ABB corporate research center in Baden-Dättwil, Aargau, Switzerland. In this 6-month internship you will support the research team in experimental tasks. These include CAD preparation, hands-on work in assembling and development of novel concepts for low/medium voltage switchgear. The intern will join the experimental team in the laboratory to test the developed solutions. You will be mainly responsible for: Construction of experimental setups Participating in designing of the novel concepts for low and medium voltage switchgear Executing experimental tasks within the ABB research team Evaluating experimental results and performing data analysis
