Responsibilities

  • Civil designs for industrial facilities renovations and expansions including process and plumbing
  • Remediation of hazardous waste sites, underground storage tank removal, phase 1 investigations, and environmental compliance
  • Remedial design activities: basis of design/pilot studies, remedial design reports and action plans, permit applications and contract documents, remedial action activities such as bid assistance and contractor selection
  • Assist in gathering and recording information to be used for writing specifications.
  • Assist in reviewing vendor drawings to assure compliance with specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation or presenting of routine technical reports.
  • Visit job sites to gain field experience, broaden background, and develop practical engineering skills.
