Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or holding a degree from a Business School or University with a specialisation preferably in Finance and / or Accounting
  • Knowledge of financial analysis, accounting and modelling
  • Previous internship experience in corporate finance, transaction services, private equity / debt is preferred
  • Good expertise of Excel and Power Point
  • Fluent in English
  • Flexible, proactive with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Strong motivation, results oriented mindset, good team player and desire to thrive and learn in an entrepreneurial and dynamic company

Responsibilities

  • You will support the Private Debt team in the evaluation, screening, execution and monitoring of direct lending transactions in Europe and you will be in charge of the following responsibilities:
  • Process legal documents (e.g. NDAs, release letters) by liaising with internal functions (i.e. legal and compliance teams) and external parties (i.e. sponsors and advisors);
  • Review information package as part of the screening process of new opportunities;
  • Analyse financials, strategic positioning, market and valuation of target companies;
  • Create financial modelling and scenario analysis of company business plans;
  • Contribute to preparing investment memos; participate in the investment committee process;
  • Contribute to structuring and executing financing, legal documentation and negotiation;
  • Help develop relationships with private equity firms, corporates, advisors and banks;
  • Monitor portfolio companies, write periodical follow-up reports and analyse reporting.
