Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field of study with a graduation date between 2024-2025
  • Experience in software or hardware testing and automated scripting
  • Preferred skills in Python, Selenium, Pytest, Locust, Java, SQL, Postman, API Testing
  • Cucumber, Swift, React and C++ experience is a plus
  • Demonstrable experience solving difficult QA problems (scalability, reliability, reporting, parallelization, etc.)
  • Passionate about troubleshooting failures to determine root cause
  • Experience in designing automation frameworks and developing test automation software
  • Comfortable with Linux environments and hardware-based testing setups is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Qualified applicants may be reviewed by one or more of the following teams:
  • IT/Applications Engineering: We are currently looking for an intern to help architect, build, manage and operate the infrastructure & applications for Tesla’s Engineering teams including Connected Systems, Firmware and Autopilot. In this role, you will plan, design, implement as well as manage ongoing Infrastructure components that powers the development of Tesla’s Vehicles and technologies.
  • Infotainment Software QA: As an intern with the Infotainment Software QA team, you will help to ensure great quality of Tesla’s UI and/or Autopilot software for current and next generation vehicle programs. Interns on this team will work with Systems Software QA, Automation Framework, UX General Testing, Mobile Apps Testing or General QA Automation.
