Requirements

  • You have a technical education (e.g. electrical engineering, electronics or mechatronics), preferably bachelor level.
  • Knowledge of automated processes and/or robotics is a plus.
  • You have a basic understanding of programming.
  • Good knowledge of the Italian and English languages.
  • Good knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and strong analysis skills and the right attitude for problem solving.
  • You have a great sense of responsibility and good analytical skills, in addition you are very service-minded.
  • Easiness to manage the relation with the customer.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the team in the assigned Technical organization (division and market) and customers during the execution medium to high complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines.
  • In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.
  • You will be main accountable for:
  • Carrying out commissioning of robot systems and hold training courses.
  • Upgrading and modernization of existing installed base.
  • Robot process optimization. Dealing with electrical, mechanical, software and also to relate about some process problems.
  • Supporting the business growth introducing new technologies both in term of some processes and state of the art robot sensors or programming technologies.
  • Supporting new system business and after sales pro-active initiatives.
  • Provide technical support via emails/phone from the office.
  • Complying with the company’s Safety and Integrity procedures and standards.
