Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
  • Preferred majors include: Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience with Solidworks, Microsoft Project, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

  • Aids in writing technical requests for proposals and evaluating technical proposals.
  • Works alongside ride and show engineers to troubleshoot and develop improvements.
  • Assists RI’s in managing vendors and integrating deliverables into facility design and other disciplines, as required.
  • Develops PowerPoint presentations of technical review and/or planning.
  • Assists in developing technical requirements to support creative intent.
  • Provides feedback on vendor’s concepts or preliminary designs of various ride/show elements.
  • Develops and organizing drawings and reference materials for RFIs and RFPs.
  • Participates in team coordination meetings regarding Ride and Show scopes.
  • Assists in evaluating and studying the feasibility of new technologies.
  • Assists in the coordination of show systems within Facility and show sets.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
