  • Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, Human-Computer Interaction or related field of study
  • An excellent portfolio showcasing user experience, visual design and UI work with a strong design sensibility and excellent, user centric storytelling
  • Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills, ability to think through complex interaction design
  • Proficient and highly skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools
  • Customer-focused, with experience using design research methods to uncover customer insights
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently but also collaborative and driven by group critique
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced, high stress iterative design process under minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Research and define UX strategy, contribute to the overall product and design direction from concept to implementation
  • Develop creative and innovative design solutions for product education, acquisition, and activation experiences that help guide various types of customers from different backgrounds and with different requirements
  • Constantly measure how designs are performing for target customers; iterate and improve those experiences as needed
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment; invest in building relationships and trust with other designers, software engineers and product partners
  • Present work to partners, stakeholders and senior leaders regularly
  • Leverage Tesla UX design standards and guidelines. Advocate for consistency across team members and partners
