Requirements

  • To qualify for this internship opportunity, you must be a rising junior, senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program.
  • Preferred concentration of study: Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
  • Qualifications:
  • Nice communication and teamwork skills.
  • Microsoft office experience (Esp. Excel)
  • Experience of Data Analytics and creating actionable insights from data is important (Experience with Power BI or equivalent tool is a plus)
  • Basic idea of different software tools and technologies and how they’re connected in the ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with various Information Assurance and Security topics.
  • Must be Tech oriented and open to learning new technology / tools.
  • Nice to have: Software Development Skills (Front End/Back End/ Full Stack), Software Architecture skills, Information Security Knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Information Security Responsibilities:
  • Information assurance: Responsible for maintaining and developing cybersecurity for software, and users
  • Risk management: Helps companies reduce and manage risks to their enterprise
  • Problem solving: Helps identify and resolve issues that can put an organization at risk
  • Communicating security protocols: Maintains security protocols across the organization and develops strategies to strengthen network and internet security
  • Network management: Understanding networking protocols and configurations is essential for preventing and mitigating cyber attacks
  • System administration: Provides a stable work environment for the organization, including cybersecurity, server and network performance, and other areas that need to be tuned up
  • Technology awareness: Making employees aware of the latest cyber threats, how to recognize them, and how to prevent them
  • Enterprise Architecture Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Alignment: connect goals, activities, and resources
  • Support strategic planning and other operational resource planning processes by providing macro and micro views of how resources are to be leveraged in accomplishing the goals of the enterprise.
  • Standardized Policy: Resource governance and implementation
  • Decision Support: Technical, Financial control and configuration management
  • Resource Oversight: Lifecycle to development/management
  • Support standardized approaches for overseeing the development of capabilities and optimizing supporting resources. Depending on the scope of the resources involved and the available timeframe for development, various system development lifecycle methods can be used to reduce the risk that cost, schedule, or performance parameters may not be met
