Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding new applications, obtaining documentation from the various vendors and ensuring that all applications have undergone security reviews
  • Assist with and undertake routine entitlement reviews
  • Engage in incident response, maintaining incident tickets, developing playbooks, work flows and validating false positives
  • Collaborate with the business’s functional areas, including student services, database support to understand data flows and identify impact to information security
  • Work with the CISO to automate manual processes, such as sending out notifications to managers on employees that have not completed training, within the Information Security group, wherever possible
  • Work with the CISO to undertake security risk assessments, build reports for presentations
  • Undertake information security assignments, as requested
