Responsibilities

  • Make collection boards, and update seasonal line sheets.
  • Prepare knitwear fabric cards once swatches are approved
  • Make colorups of illustrations using Photoshop and illustrator, and/or ProCreate
  • Assist with creating of artwork layouts (intarsia, stripes, crochet, jacquards).
  • Assist design department and product development team with collection development.
  • Shadow Design Department with all department related activities specifically focusing on creating techpacks, preparing packages, daily factory communications
  • Participate in Design and Concept Developments
  • Shadow Manager with creation and approval of Textile artwork
  • Witness the creation and approval of Embroideries and Embellishments
  • Participate in the creation and approval of Color Palettes and Inspiration Boards
  • Participate in design fittings & take notes during knitwear fittings
  • Participate in pre-show styling/fittings
  • Participate in backstage runway show, if possible
