Requirements

  • Knowledge of payments processing, retail and e-commerce is preferable.
  • Strong organizational skills, being able to work within a defined sales process and have effective time management.
  • Being able to work productively in a fast-paced environment while having good attention to detail.
  • Good team player with a collaborative approach to work and be able to create quality relationships quickly, whilst also working well independently and cope with ambiguity.
  • Have a good sense of initiative, self-motivation and willingness to learn.
  • Completed, or be working towards, a degree in a business/commercial related subject with expected grade at least a 2:1
  • Be available for a 12 months internship starting July 2024

Responsibilities

  • Defining and implementing lead generation and management processes: track and assess effectiveness of the various lead sources, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of leads, assist in engaging with merchants that meet large merchant criteria.
  • Perform audits of industries, sectors or initiatives to find new sources of lead generation and opportunities for the sales teams.
  • Being proactive in delivering scheduled internal reporting consistently, for example providing information for the biweekly newsletter and creating the sales monthly newsletter.
  • Gathering and delivering information for reporting using key metrics when required.
  • Collating and formatting data requests from the team to use in merchant presentations, meetings and business cases.
  • Manage the sales team calendar with events, stakeholder meetings, planning and development related activities, possible future events, off-sites and quarterly sales kick offs.
  • Cold calling new opportunities or existing prospects to arrange meetings for the Enterprise Sales Team
  • To facilitate the onboarding of merchants in conjunction with the Enterprise Sales, GPS and CSM functions. Acting as the conduit between all of these teams to make sure the onboarding goes smoothly also helping with the collection of documents including KYC and KYB information
