  • Hiring Criteria:
  • The position may be a paid position and/or for school credit. However, the candidate must currently be a student attending college/university.
  • Education Requirements:
  • Graduate level student currently in their second year of law school in the Summer of 2024.
  • Experience Requirements
  • The successful candidate must possess high-level research, writing and analytical skills.
  • License Requirements:
  • N/A
  • Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • A background check including education and criminal history.

Responsibilities

  • This intern will join the Office of General Counsel and:
  • May be called upon to answer questions involving any of the areas of law.
  • They’ll write responses to attorneys which may take the form of a memorandum, correspondence, a portion of a brief, response to discovery, or other documents.
  • Law clerks may attend meetings with clients, depositions, hearings, trials and meetings of the Board of Water Commissioners.
