Requirements

  • We believe in creating a better impact on people and the planet through our work and it’s important you share this passion, are enthusiastic, accountable and self-motivated in helping our clients create – and communicate – change.
  • While not requiring any experience, you will have a passion for sustainability and / or social impact, and an interest in how communications can help deliver change
  • You will have an understanding of the current environmental and social issues trends, plus an appetite for current affairs
  • You will have the desire to learn quickly and a positive, proactive and driven attitude with a strong teamwork ethic
  • You will have excellent communications skills with a passion for writing and storytelling
  • You will have attention to detail with appreciation of tight deadlines, and be able to prioritise and manage time effectively through strong organisational skills
  • You will have a good knowledge of social media platforms, with first-hand experience of the core channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)

Responsibilities

  • Support the team on day-to-day delivery of our existing portfolio of work, servicing both UK and global clients. The nature of this support will vary according to project, ranging from sustainability comms, media relations and event support through to research reports and stakeholder engagement. This might include:
  • Taking responsibility for regular trend updates to the team - monitoring news media and social media for new developments relevant to ESG, sustainability and social impact topics.
  • Supporting media sell-ins for sustainability related campaigns.
  • Supporting landscape benchmarking through desk research
  • Actively participating in research and ideation for campaigns
  • Maintaining and regularly updating the administrative elements of accounts
  • Learning how to set up monitoring dashboards and using them to stay across coverage for the brands we work with, and wider media, to keep the team and clients abreast of relevant industry news
