Requirements

  • Must have completed second year of law school at time of internship Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexible and able to adjust to changing demands
  • Attention to detail and good organizational & planning skills
  • Must be proficient in computer skills including Office 365
  • Available to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
  • Preferred Experiences:
  • Some experience with contract law
  • Proofing documents
  • Legal Intern applicants must be completing their second year at an ABA accredited law school by the start of the 2024 summer internship.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and revising performance agreements
  • Proofing contracts in negotiation
  • Managing insurance COI process
  • Research and documentation projects
  • Attend meetings and collaboration discussions
  • Possible Projects:
  • Perform due diligence on legal files associated with large collections
  • Manage summer live performance agreements
  • Negotiation of performance agreement
