Requirements

  • You are currently pursuing a J.D. at an ABA-accredited law school in the greater NYC area or other location that allows you to work from EnergyHub’s Brooklyn offices at least three days per week during the Summer of 2024
  • You have excellent organizational, communication and project management skills, and a demonstrated attention to detail
  • You have a desire to use your legal skills to help support green technology and advance a clean energy future
  • You feel comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Spreadsheets on basic daily tasks
  • Bonus:
  • Knowledge of business transactions and corporate law
  • Experience of using Monday.com to organize work

Responsibilities

  • Familiarize yourself with current contract templates and fundamental negotiating points
  • Perform a comprehensive review of existing contracts, analyze and summarize key terms
  • Organize existing internal resources and develop additional resources to fill gaps
  • Join our Corporate Counsel in active contract negotiations to gain an understanding of key terms for our clients and partners
  • Contribute to our team culture and inclusive workplace environment
