  • RFP Repository:
  • The Intern should expect to engage with Sales Ops, to compile common RFP question list, work with Legal team to write responses, and provide approved responses to Sales Ops for inclusion into unified RFP response repository.
  • At completion of project, responses will be stored with Sales Ops and approved for use in RFP responses.
  • This will help the intern understand In-House Counsel’s role in supporting commercial negotiations and how Legal builds self-service tools to support the business.
  • Negotiation Playbook:
  • Sales Training Materials: The Intern will work with Sales Ops and Legal team to determine status of existing trainings, determine appropriate location and medium for updated trainings, and create/complete revised training materials for ongoing use. This is further the Intern’s understanding of counsel’s role in supporting negotiations.
  • Internal Legal Playbook: Intern will work with Legal team to build new negotiation playbook for Legal team’s use when negotiating MSAs, including an annotated MSA, Alternative Positions, Escalation notes, etc.
  • This will allow for a deep-dive into understanding specific contractual provisions, how Model N specifically negotiates agreements, both in language and in process.
