- Citi Legal are looking for Legal Technology Analysts to join our talented department of legal professionals in our Belfast Global Legal Office. Citi Legal support Citi international offices in a variety of specialised areas to ensure long-term growth and efficient functioning of the company. As a Legal Technology Analyst, you will be part of a dedicated team of professionals that support Citi and our profitability, stability and growth. Most importantly, you will support a global business with various products and services across multiple geographies.
What does the Legal Technology Analyst Placement involve?
- Introducing new talent helps us stay enthusiastic, navigate change and bring fresh ways of thinking to the organisation. We have designed a placement which enables those who have completed the Law and Computing Masters to gain valuable experience in the emerging world of legal technology and its application in a large global in-house legal department.
- Introduction to Citi and the Legal Department
- Introduction to Financial Markets and Investment Banking
- Soft skills training required to have a successful career at Citi
- Experience in the day-to-day roles of lawyers and legal professionals
- Exposure to the day-to-day roles of software developers and technologists
Area of Responsibilities
Legal
Responsibilities
- Assist with the gathering of business requirements for the implementation/ enhancements required for technology tools in conjunction with subject matter experts
- Update knowhow and user manuals for each technology tool post each new release
- Perform user acceptance testing prior to new software releases and collate Legal users feedback
- Assist with the ongoing rollout of each new legal technology tool to other Legal teams (including but not limited to Germany, France, USA, Singapore and Mumbai)
- Keep abreast of legal and regulatory developments which impact Legal technology tools
- Partner with colleagues in other regions in order to ensure global consistency
Requirements
- Strong academic credentials (achieving an undergraduate degree in Law, Computer Science or similar and on track for a Merit or Distinction in the LLM/MSC) with Ulster University.
Skills & Competencies
Extensive work experience is not a requirement, but a true passion for the application of technology in the field of legal services is vital.
