The apprenticeship involves supporting the Sheffield Costs Team in recovering legal costs, preparing case files, contacting clients, conducting legal research, and ensuring compliance with the firm’s policies and procedures.
How long is the apprenticeship program?
The apprenticeship is a 24-month program.
What qualifications will I gain upon completion of the apprenticeship?
You will gain a qualification as a paralegal in your area of practice and a Certificate of Higher Education (Law and Legal Practice).
What are the entry requirements for the apprenticeship?
You need 5 GCSEs at grade A* to C or 9 to 4 (including Maths and English) and at least 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above (excluding General Studies).
Is this apprenticeship suitable for those with a law degree?
No, if you have a law degree, you are not eligible to apply for this apprenticeship, but you can apply for a Training Contract with the firm.
What is the starting salary for this apprenticeship?
The starting salary is £21,840, with a salary of £23,933 for apprentices based in London.
