Requirements

  • A passion for design and our profession
  • A keen sense of creativity and initiative, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong drawing/sketching skills both via computer program and by hand
  • Proficient use AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, and other graphic programs
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and to work with minimal supervision
  • Sharp problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Prior internship or work experience in an architecture firm is a plus
  • Prior experience working with contractor submittals and RFIs is a plus
  • Prior experience with electronic document management and distribution is a plus
  • Education and Experience:
  • Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Interior Architecture at an accredited institution is required.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Office Leader, you will support the Design Resource Library by scheduling updates, breakfasts, and CEU accredited lunches. You will also be responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the library.
  • The Architectural Intern is responsible for providing significant assistance in the construction administration (CA) phase of the project. Although it is our intent to integrate this individual into a project team at some point in the internship, the main responsibilities will remain in the library.
