Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University; Preferably in a field related to the internship you are applying for.
Junior or Senior standing
Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
Creative thinker and problem solver
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs. and occasional sitting.

Responsibilities

Assisting booking/programming department with administrative duties and special projects
Research emerging domestic and international emerging artists.
Research target markets for shows.
Update venue and market database for the department.
Update and maintain booking calendar and documents.
Final internship project will be assigned at the beginning of the internship program to be presented at the end.
Learning Objectives:
Learn the process booking comedy.
Learning how to properly research artists and route, market and settle live shows.
Learn how to build and maintain relationships with outside organizations.
