  • You are enrolled in courses at a college or university and studying one of the following - Industrial Engineering, General Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related
  • You are available to work full time on-site in Wichita, Kansas during the Summer of 2025

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to General Work Requirements
  • Monitor and communicate component shortages to expedite and secure supplier fulfillment of demand and update Operations on shortage status
  • Develop recommendations for parts or program change management process, for example, price, lead times, make-buy, and part number change
  • Initiate and coordinate with other departments such as Engineering, Methods, Quality Assurance, Operations and other Material Logistics functions to resolve problems concerning delivery, component discrepancies, and lead times with internal and external suppliers
  • Participate in special projects, for example, certification effort, Six Sigma, and Natural Work Team
  • Analyze and compile data
  • Update and maintain databases
  • Assist the Team with business analysis
  • Work as part of the Team to provide support to ensure reliability and efficiency with processes
  • Interface with Bombardier personnel to ensure consistent, practical and effective solutions
