Responsibilities

  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Operators on cost savings and process improvement projects for CNC Lathes, Boring Bars and Mills.
  • Develop Part Setup Work Instructions
  • Collect, inventory, and update machining tools and accessories for Tool Books for Boring Bars
  • Prepare setup sheets for CNC Horizontal Lathes (i.e., F3144, F3060)
  • Continuous Improvement project for parts flow through Machinery Factory
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering with TDM (Tool Data Management); this will include building the tool lists associated with the programs
