Responsibilities

  • To perform entry level work of a routine nature requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related tasks.
  • The Intern will be involved in the day-to-day activities of the team included aiding other departments as they relate to department projects. We expect the intern to gain an in-depth knowledge of the product and its associated processes, particularly the process activities in-which they will be directly involved. The intern will have opportunities to assist in nearly all aspects of the workflow.
  • Create or update Manufacturing & Operations documents such as: Manufacturing Routers and Bill of Materials (BOM)s, Manufacturing Quality Plans (MQPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Standard Production Methods (SPMs)
  • Scope, plan and execute Engineering Change Order requests issued internally. Requests include improvements of manufacturing efficiencies, implementation of engineering changes, improvements of product quality, and resolution of technical issues in a production line.
  • Perform element of a Process Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ). Participate in activities related to new Product Introductions
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
