Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar, from an accredited college or university
  • Juniors and rising Seniors preferred level student in good academic standing
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team towards a goal
  • Excellent organization and personal time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess effective problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to be creative and resourceful when needed
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Create/update assembly work instructions
  • Utilize AutoCAD & Solid works composer to improve processes
  • Support new product development projects (Drills & Shovels)
  • Update/Develop routings for assembly process
  • Pursue process improvement ideas and capture cost savings
  • Support operations and shop employees (prints, tools, troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Apply lean Manufacturing principals for continuous improvements
