  • Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2024 Summer Intern - Manufacturing Planner. Manufacturing Planners coordinate with the production teams to provide shop floor control on material, analyze and control production schedules and capacity requirements, and provide timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule. 


  • The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of working in a manufacturing environment and lean manufacturing. Must be a US Citizen.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Desired Skills:
  • Previous manufacturing/operations experience; understanding of lean manufacturing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel and macros
  • Understanding of Visual Basic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

  • In this role, you will:
