Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of working in a manufacturing environment and lean manufacturing. Must be a US Citizen.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Desired Skills:
  • Previous manufacturing/operations experience; understanding of lean manufacturing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel and macros
  • Understanding of Visual Basic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will:
  • Proactively support continuous improvement of material flow, inventory management and shop floor control processes to support cost, schedule and quality objectives.
  • Support metrics development, dashboards and strategic development & delivery.
  • Utilize lean Six Sigma tools to identify, implement and coordinate preventative actions to mitigate performance challenges.
  • Audit support and inventory processes.
