Requirements

  • A student taking Marketing as a core subject, with an interest in social media strategy and content development. Who can also ideally show:
  • Confidence with copy writing
  • A creative eye to bring forward new and relevant ideas
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all business levels
  • You’re motivated and have an interest to try new things and get stuck in!

Responsibilities

  • Whilst gaining an insight into all aspects of the Communications team, the key project for this role will be the ongoing development and greater integration, of Edinburgh Airport’s social media channels into the overall communication strategy. The role will focus on maintaining engagement with our social media audiences, establishing and growing the lifetime customer value whilst also looking at how to implement trackable KPIs and measure the ROI across the channels.
  • The right person for this role will be someone who can pinpoint the stories we should share, that are going to matter to our audiences. They will be able to tell those stories in the right way – imagery, video, written copy, infographics, or through the latest trend that’s surfaced that week. They will be able to capture the everyday in a new and engaging way. They will be able to look at what we do and show us how we can sustainably evolve.
