Requirements

  • Writing news stories and other philanthropy communications materials for a variety of platforms
  • Graphic design using Canva to create materials for donors, potential donors, event attendees and more
  • Contributing to and maintaining communications plans and editorial calendars
  • Organizing files and photos in philanthropy library
  • The internship spans 10-12 weeks. Start and end dates are somewhat flexible. The intern is responsible for his/her own housing, transportation and parking. The intern is expected to work in-person in the downtown Indianapolis office three days a week; two days a week can be in office or virtual. Prior to starting work, the intern will have to undergo a health screening, background/reference check and onboarding session required by IU Health. Pay is $18 per hour.
  • Requires current enrollment in an Associate's, Bachelor's, and/or Master's Degree Program.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
