  • The Hearst Magazines Summer Internship Program is a paid, full time 11-week program for undergraduate rising Juniors & Seniors. From June 3 – August 16, 2024, our interns will gain an immersive, hands-on experience with one of the top publishers in the world.  
  • In addition to working with their assigned team on important projects, interns will gain access to Hearst’s diverse professional network by participating in intimate learning sessions and join fun peer networking activities throughout the summer. Program participants will also leverage Hearst’s resources to work on and present a group project to senior leaders at the conclusion of the program.

  • As the leading automotive media organization in the world, Hearst Autos connects car buyers, owners, and enthusiasts to the information they need, the experiences they crave and the stories they love – while connecting automotive marketers to this audience of unrivaled breadth and diversity. Our Hearst Auto Marketing team is the driving force behind every proposal and idea that goes in front of our clients. We are tasked with pushing the envelope through strategic, insight lead, creative proposals and executions. Our Marketing team consists of industry experts in Integrated and Strategic Marketing, Insights and Analytics, Experiential Marketing, Creative, and Design.  


  • Must have an interest or experience with/in marketing proposal, initiatives
  • Must have an interest or experience with/in automotive industry
  • Must have an interest or experience with/in data and analytics
  • Preferred major in Marketing, Economics, Statistics or related field

Media & Journalism


  • Take part in brainstorm and ideation sessions for marketing proposals and RFP responses
  • Take part in insights and analytics sessions; survey creation and analysis, etc.
  • Help with creation and organization of client- and consumer-facing marketing materials
  • Collaborate across marketing verticals (integrated, strategic, insights and analytics, experiences, and creative) as well as key stake holding teams (sales, editorial, rev ops, etc.)
