What is the duration of the internship?
The internship lasts for 12 months, from Monday 30th June 2025 to Friday 17th July 2026.
What are the eligibility criteria for applying?
To apply, you must be currently studying at university (applying for a placement year in your 2nd or final year), graduating in Summer 2025, or looking for employment after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship. Additionally, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship.
What types of tasks will I be involved in during the internship?
You will support various aspects of marketing, publicity, and trade marketing for film releases, assist with team coordination, participate in brainstorming sessions, help with research and presentations, manage budgets, and assist in planning events and screenings.
What skills are necessary for the intern role?
Necessary skills include strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent IT skills (especially in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint), attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, a love for social media and the film industry, as well as enthusiasm and proactivity.
Will I receive training during the internship?
Yes, you will learn about the day-to-day operations of a high-performing entertainment company and gain a full understanding of deploying 360° film marketing campaigns while collaborating with various teams.
Is there an interview process for this internship?
Yes, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations as part of the selection process.
Is this internship paid?
