Requirements

  • Current student in an accredited bachelor’s program or master’s degree program in architecture or related field of study.
  • Some experience in the architectural profession or associated arts.
  • Some proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and visualization software.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate management of material resource center to maintain organization, filing and storage of manufacturer’s product samples and information for access and use by office staff.
  • Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and artisans of interior and architectural materials.
  • Coordinate vendor/product presentations and educational sessions.
  • Provide initial evaluation of products and materials for aesthetic and functional consideration to include in the library and on firm projects.
  • Support the application and specification for proposed material and product selections by investigation and collection and dissemination of related data, samples and documentation to project team members.
