What is the pay range for this internship position?
The pay range for the undergraduate student intern position is $22.80 - $31.00 per hour, depending on your most recent completed academic year.
What academic qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must be a continuing college or university student in good standing at an accredited institution, pursuing an undergraduate degree in chemistry, materials sciences, computational chemistry, or a related field.
What type of research will interns be conducting?
Interns will engage in practical research experience in various scientific fields, including organic/inorganic synthesis, materials characterization, electrochemistry, computational chemistry, nanoscale materials synthesis, and metallurgy.
Are there any GPA requirements for applicants?
While a GPA of 3.0 or above is desired, all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, regardless of their GPA.
Is there a requirement for security clearance for this internship?
No security clearance is required initially; however, if your assignment is longer than 179 days cumulatively within a calendar year, you must undergo the Personal Identity Verification process.
