  • Strong understanding of camera equipment, lighting, and other technical aspects of still photography and film production.
  • Familiar with the processes and work of a creative / video / production work environment.
  • Knowledge of workflow process in video OR photography and workflow in software management.
  • Experience with a wide array of media, formats, platforms, and mediums including broadcast, digital/mobile/social, POP, events and video.
  • Fluent in the latest Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or other production platforms such as Capture One, DaVinci, Final Cut Pro, Avid etc.
  • A basic understanding of traditional corporate communication and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Google Workspace/G-Suite, and other platforms such as Zoom, airtable, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and learn on the job.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Photography/Studio Manager and Associate Producer in setting up and breaking down equipment, including cameras, lighting, and other technical gear. Ensure that all necessary equipment is prepared and ready for use on set.
  • Liaise with external visual vendors to ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment and materials.
  • Maintain clear communication to address any issues or changes in requirements.
  • Coordinate logistics for the production team, including transportation of equipment, crew scheduling, and on-site accommodations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, vendor contracts, and production schedules. Prepare reports and summaries for review by the production management team.
  • Proactively identify and resolve on-set challenges, working closely with the Associate Producer, Director of Photography/Studio Manager and production staff to ensure that creative vision is realized without delays.
  • Assist in the transition from production to post-production by compiling footage, managing files, and ensuring that all visual assets are organized and accessible.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on set and that equipment is handled in accordance with industry standards.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with a variety of teams, at the corporate, brand and franchisee level.
  • Manage strict deadlines and coordinate edits with project owners, managers, and collaborators to effectively support multiple projects at once.
  • Collaborate and learn from other creatives of various skillsets, specialties, and levels of experience to create and execute high quality work.
