Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Willingness to work on-site in a lab environment
  • Familiarity with the MATLAB programming platform
  • Analytical thinking, engineering knowledge, and problem-solving skills
  • Coursework in engineering problem solving using computer-based methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to work autonomously when provided work instructions
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Desired Skills:
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team
  • Familiarity with web-based content updates and information-sharing strategies
  • Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to work autonomously when provided work instructions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will support existing project teams by documenting engineering design solutions (e.g. DODAF views), analyze the design of hardware solutions designed for multi-domain coordination and data-sharing, and implementing physical engineering solutions in operational environments, and gathering and analyze post-event data for presentations to leadership. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the MATLAB programming platform, familiarity with web-based content updates and information-sharing strategies, and basic knowledge of engineering problem solving using computer-based methodologies. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
