Requirements

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aerospace or other related engineering degree at an accredited university.
  • You have familiarity with a 3D modeling software.
  • You are proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Outlook).
  • You exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • You are a self-starter with ability to work multiple tasks or projects concurrently and effectively.
  • You are an organized individual, able to work effectively independently and with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition.
  • You have ability to read and understand wiring diagrams or schematics (preferred).
  • You are available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week on-site in Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project status deliverables.
  • Research various databases for aircraft and component configuration data.
  • Participate in change management activities. Research and prepare issue identification statement documents and suggested corrective action(s).
  • Prepare necessary documents to support the interior and structural modification of Bombardier aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reports.
  • Research specifications for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.
  • Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues.
  • Work in a team environment.
