Requirements

Assure that new equipment will safely comply with performance criteria for use with computer software programs and make any necessary hardware modifications to fix mistakes and other issues.
Work with interdisciplinary design teams, such as those for hardware, mechanical, and software
Design new hardware using Solid Works
Practical experience with a variety of hardware devices.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Self-driven with exceptional analytical and critiquing skills
Strong ability to solve problems
Attention to detail
Ability to function a member of a small team.
Practical experience with a variety of hardware devices

Responsibilities

Work with team to create/modify designs for parts and assemblies
Work with team to update part drawings or specifications
Work with team on defects that arise from the design
Assist in building prototypes or early units
Learn about how our products go from an idea to a fully-fledged product
Perform other tasks as assigned
