Responsibilities

  • This is a full time one year internship to provide vital support for the day-to-day operations of the Sports Medicine and Science Department of Southampton FC from schoolboy to First Team for both men’s and women’s sides.
  • You will be in regular communication with our Sports Medicine Specialists throughout the year to help with the smooth running of the Medical Team, reporting to the Doctors, and Head of Professional Medical Services, and there will be opportunities to help with research projects within the team to enhance your personal learning and skill development.
  • This is a unique opportunity to work in elite sport – develop understanding of MDT in Sport – observe clinical processes and contribute to the function of the team.
